How to Create a Pay Stub PDF (Free & Private)

Payroll systems rarely give you a simple paystub PDF with totals and disclaimers. CourtPDF fixes that with the Paystub PDF Generator, a free tool that runs entirely in your browser so nothing ever leaves your device.

1. Export or Copy Your Paystub Totals

Download a payroll CSV (Gusto, ADP, Paychex, etc.) or copy the summary that lists pay period, gross pay, taxes, and net pay. You can also gather the numbers manually if your employer only provides paper paystubs.

2. Open the Paystub Generator

Visit the Paystub PDF Generator and click the sample button to see a pre-filled CSV. Drop your own payroll file or type each period into the manual form — the preview updates instantly and shows year-to-date totals.

3. Review Totals and Exhibit Options

The preview table displays earnings, taxes, deductions, and cumulative net pay for every period you add. Enable the exhibit toggle if you need an "Exhibit" label for court. You can rename it to Exhibit B, C, or anything else before downloading.

4. Download the PDF

  1. Verify that the employer, employee, and pay period range look correct.
  2. Click Generate Paystub PDF.
  3. Save the PDF and attach it to your application, demand letter, or court filing.

Tip: Build a full income packet

Pair the paystub PDF with the Proof of Income PDF Generator to summarize bank deposits and gig payouts, and add a Rent Ledger PDF if you need to show payment history.

Ready to try it? Jump into the Paystub PDF Generator and load the sample CSV to see how CourtPDF formats your payroll data in seconds.
