Print Gmail Emails for Court (Free & Private)
Judges and opposing counsel expect a clear timeline of emails, not screenshots. Gmail lets you download .eml files or a Takeout ZIP; EmailCourt transforms them into a polished PDF transcript with headers, timestamps, and participants called out.
Step 1 — Export Gmail messages
- Open the email in Gmail, click More → Download original to save an .eml file.
- For large sets, visit takeout.google.com, select Mail, and create an export. You’ll receive a ZIP containing folders of .eml files.
- Optional: Move only the relevant emails into a label before running Takeout so your ZIP stays small.
Step 2 — Upload to EmailCourt
- Go to courtpdf.com/emailcourt and drop the .eml, .mbox, .msg, or Gmail ZIP file into the EmailCourt dropzone.
- EmailCourt normalizes the headers, sorts the thread chronologically, and previews the conversation.
- Use the filters on the left to narrow by dates, keywords, From/To addresses, or require CC recipients.
Step 3 — Generate the court-ready PDF
- Review the preview to ensure the correct emails and order appear.
- Click Generate Court-Ready PDF. EmailCourt produces a multipage PDF with a cover sheet, participant list, and every email body in plain text.
- Save the PDF and attach it to your filing or print it for in-person hearings.
Frequently asked questions
Do attachments come through? EmailCourt lists attachment names in the headers, but it doesn’t download file contents (the court typically needs the body text first).
Can I mix Gmail with Outlook exports? Yes. EmailCourt can import multiple files at once and merge them in the preview before you generate the PDF.
Does it work offline? Yes—once the page loads, everything runs locally. You can disconnect from the internet and still generate the PDF.
